RésuméCe texte rapporte brièvement les contributions de la pensée de Myriam David pour la formation des professionnels de la première enfance au Brésil. Sa pensée clinique, ainsi que sa pratique institutionnelle, y ont inspiré la mise en place d’institutions de soins et de recherche, ainsi que la transmission des bases de la clinique du bébé, avec la compréhension des liens complexes qui se tissent entre les parents et leur jeune enfant.

This paper reports briefly the main contributions of Myriam David’s ideas for the formation of professionals in charge of infants and their families in Brazil. Her clinical thinking and her institutional practice have inspired in the country the foundation of treatment and research institutions, and have influenced the transmission of the basis of early intervention in childhood, with a deep understanding of the complex bonding between parents and their baby.
