À partir de la Gradiva de Wilhem Jensen ce texte vise à repérer le rôle et l’incidence des choix, mêmes inconscients, dans tout trajet en psychologie analytique. En découle naturellement une interrogation sur l’attention que peut y porter l’analyste ainsi que sur les positions respectives reconnues au moi et à l’inconscient en clinique jungienne, lesquelles conditionnent le déroulement de la cure.

Based on W. Jensen’s Gradiva , this article points out the impact of conscious and even unconscious choices and decisions upon any process of analytical psychology. It then investigates the attention the analyst should devote to such choices, as well as the respective positions of the ego and the unconscious recognized in Jungian practice. These positions are the key to the healing process.
