L’argent en lui-même n’est rien. Il en est pourtant venu à instaurer un vide gigantesque, là où un plus grand bien que lui, réel et consistant, régnait jadis. Qui était donc ce géant dont l’argent, semble-t-il, a pris la place, voire même l’aspect ? C’était la vie elle-même, ou plutôt la conscience et donc la joie que nous en avions. Ce mouvement millénaire, dont nous rappellerons le ressort phénoménologique radical, peut-il s’inverser ? Est-il encore temps que conscience et joie de vivre reprennent enfin chair ?

Money itself is nothing. Nevertheless, it has come to establish a gigantic void, where a greater good than itself, real and consistent, used to reign. Who was this giant whose place and perhaps even aspect were taken by money? It was life itself, or rather the consciousness and therefore the joy we had from it. Can this millennial movement, whose radical phenomenological ramifications we point out here, be reversed? Is there still time for the consciousness and joy in life to at last take on flesh?
