Cet article analyse la fonction du fétiche dans la perversion et tend à définir cet objet comme une composante indispensable de l’organisation psychique perverse. Les auteurs s’appuient principalement sur deux cas cliniques, l’un typique du fétichisme, l’autre en apparence plus éloigné. Après avoir mis en relation comparative les notions de fétiche, fantasme et transgression, l’article interroge la « structure » perverse et la place de ces éléments dans la dynamique qui la caractérise, avant de considérer le fétiche comme une condition de la jouissance de l’Autre.

The fetish as a precondition for perversion. Is a pervert inevitably a fetishist? Clinical examples.This paper analyses the function of the fetish object in perversion and try to define this object as an essential component of the perverse psychic organization. The authors are mainly based on two clinical cases, one typical of fetishism, the other seemingly more distant. The concepts of fetish, fantasy and transgression are compared and discussed, then the article questions the perverse « structure » and the place of these elements in the dynamics that characterizes it, before considering the fetish as a condition for the jouissance of the Other.
