Le dernier Lacan, comme Deleuze et Guattari, permettent chacun à leur manière d’ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives quant à l’investigation de l’inconscient. Loin que le psychotique ou l’autiste soient forclos et structuralement séparés du névrosé, les mécanismes dont ils témoignent valent pour tout sujet de l’inconscient. En effet, ce n’est plus d’abord la projection ou l’introjection qui constituent les opérations fondamentales du sujet et sa condition de possibilité, mais bien plutôt la corporisation et l’enjeu des synthèses passives. Dès lors, le sujet ne se subsume a priori à aucune image, aucun symbole comme aucune fonction. Sa division en est d’autant plus approfondie.

The later work of Lacan, Deleuze, and Guattari facilitates–each in its own way–the opening up of new perspectives into the investigation of the unconscious. Far from considering the psychotic and autistic patients trapped in foreclosure and structurally separated from the neurotic ones, the mechanisms they reflect concern all subjects of the unconscious. Indeed, it is no longer projection or introjection that constitute the fundamental operations of the subject and its condition of possibility. It is rather the corporatization and the passive synthesis that are at stake. Thus, the subject can neither be subsumed a priori to an image, nor a symbol, nor a function. His/her division is all the deeper.
