Le vieillissement dépendant met en avant la question du corps dans plusieurs dimensions qui seront développées dans une perspective à la fois clinique, psychanalytique et politique : corps des âgés et leurs atteintes motrices, sensorielles ou cognitives ; corps de professionnels entre fatigue et usure. Ces corps, entre épaisseur biologique et investissements pulsionnels et les défenses afférentes, seront mis en tension et en perspective avec l’irruption des technologies hypermodernes qui seront comprises comme témoignant du déni du réel du corps vieux, abîmé, et d’une nouvelle version du fantasme d’immortalité. La dimension de la sécurité et/ou de l’emprise sur les corps fera l’objet d’une attention particulière.

Dependent ageing raises the question of the body in several dimensions that will be developed from both a clinical, psychoanalytical, and political perspective: the bodies of the aged and their motor, sensory and cognitive afflictions; the bodies of professionals between fatigue and wear. These bodies, caught between biological density and drive investments and their related defences, are increasingly put under tension and brought into focus with the irruption of hypermodern technologies. The latter will be understood as attesting to the denial of the reality of the old and damaged body, and to a new version of the fantasy of immortality. Particular attention will be given to the dimension of security and/or domination over bodies.
