Seriality and cartography in the religious history of the French Revolution. The contribution of Michel Vovelle to the study of dechristianization of the Year II

The main result of this long-term study is the constitution of a statistical and cartographic corpus organized around “test” phenomena, a corpus whose use still remains essential today.
