Penitentiary institutional psychic equipment works on two modes: the magma and the complicity. These two psychic organizations block the process of subjectivation and individuation of the prisoners that is so necessary for the incomplete process of adolescence among certain prisoners. By installing a containing device which tends to mitigate the insoluble return of the archaic nature of imprisonment, prevention groups can enable the process of subjectivation. The example of a group of adults in a module for at-risk behaviors in prison will clarify our remarks.
