Instead of yielding to the tyranny of forgetting and blocking thought, certain victims of serious and early trauma, especially sexual, can relive the past aggression and devitalize intrusion brought about by the resurfacing of the body memory of trauma. The author considers that this introspection in one’s memory increases resilience and that once these children become adults, will help them relive the experience of terrifying anxiety which has no object (C. Balier). The goal is to sometimes in the obsessed of state’s conscience that redirect the aggression against oneself.
