The paper is an eyewitness account of the experience of theoretical and clinical training in Jungian psychoanalysis in Tunis during the crucial years following the “Jasmine Revolution” of 2011. Whether or not the uprising succeeded in fulfilling the needs of the population, the working group was able to live out the still relevant give-and-take between the exploration of the inner world offered by analysis and the aspirations of the society to which everyone belongs.
