Many adolescents met in institutions in Marseille evoke rap and its Heroes in their youthful novel. These heroic figures invoke many characteristics and functions for adolescents on a quest for identification. Sometimes violent novels emerge and this clearly echoes the violence of the adolescent process. This research, within the framework of a psychoanalytic psychopathology and with the structural analysis of the narratives, poses the cultural field of rap as a structuring dimension in the identity reconstruction and idealization movements of Marseille adolescents. The analysis of the identifiable characteristics between a corpus of rap and an adolescent novel will allow us to identify the outline of a singular and Mediterranean adolescent ideology.
