Confusion of silences between adults and the child

How can adults who were victims of sexual violence in their childhood or adolescence break their silence? After recalling the epidemiological context, the author describes different types of parental positioning in the moment when a victim discloses the abuse they have suffered, drawing on an approach that is not only psychoanalytic but also intersubjective. An intergenerational approach will also be explored since the silence that follows such traumatic experiences appears in both the victims and their parents.
