This article shows how a university training scheme forpsychology students enables them to acquire group experience, identify its conscious and unconscious processes, while opening up transmission perspectives at several levels: subjective, epistemological and methodological. After tracing the history of this teaching unit, the authors present the system, its framework, and the training, evaluative and experiential issues involved. Finally, a few remarks about models will be made about the specific role of the group clinical experience of students regarded as future professionals who are likely to lead group set-ups.
