This commentary on the article by Guy Palmade “Une conception du groupe d’évolution” (published in 1972) is intended as a tribute to one of the founders of the Association for Psycho-Sciological Research and Intervention and one of the designers, in his time, of a psychosociological group training model that drew inspiration directly from psychoanalysis. This model was more complex than the one inherited from Lewinian research, which was reworked and subsequently thought through again by Jean Claude Rouchy, Didier Anzieu, René Kaës, Eugène Enriquez, etc. In their conclusion, the authors take the opportunity of recalling the questions concerning these models that inevitably arise in the economic, ideological and cultural context of our times.
