The prevention of neurodevelopmental disorders relies on the early identification of genetic or environmental risk factors, ideally during the preconception, prenatal, and perinatal periods, to enhance the monitoring of at-risk children, identify deviations in neurodevelopmental trajectories at an early stage, and take early action. Establishing an ecosystem based on early intervention (ideally within a multi-disciplinary team, such as a center for early medical-social action), parental guidance, and inclusion in community settings, is necessary to promote resilience.
