This paper offers ideas on the use of projective mediation in the context of group practice with infertile or hypofertile couples who are prospective adoptive parents. The framework-setting retained in this context is the Photolangage© method with presentation of a clinical research session that identifies the processes involved both from the individual and group sides. The analysis shows the working of representations of parenting, from an intrapsychic and intersubjective perspective, with the creation of an intermediate space with transformational functions. The author emphasises the importance of using the projective-mediated group as a preparation tool for adoption.
