The return of the psychic heritage in perinatality causes disorganizing crises. In order to defend itself, the family tries to eliminate non-worked out elements, the catastrophic reawakening of which it fears. But the reorganization and transformation work to build a new family, becomes impossible then, and nothing seems to move during the pregnancy. The case of father’s psychic decompensation which shows the return of generational, after the birth, demonstrates the need to consider these family sufferings with early perinatal psychoanalytical family therapies, if possible from the start of pregnancy.
