Belief and Subjective Construction
Type de matériel :

The interplay between belief and speech is presented by the author through the analysis of the first interview of a young teenager with his father and his mother-in-law. The mutual difficulty in being heard is identified as a sign of weakening the ability to believe in the other and in the truth of his word. This moment of tension when subjective expression cannot find its way of transmission anymore is a question addressed in relation to what may be undermined in the parental function in a context of conjugal and parental disunity. The need to believe is presented in this clinical example as an essential part in subjective construction.
