This loss of links affects families that function as a horizontal group, an assembly of individuals who cohabit without generational difference, where authoritarianism replaces authority. Psychoanalytic work in the family will enable the different psychic envelopes to rebuild themselves in order to better resist the excitations coming from the outside.
