The observation that psychoanalytic thought is being abandoned in care and medico social institutions led four psychoanalysts, themselves practising in institutions, to propose an original group approach to professionals suffering in institutions. A four-way listening session was set up. Differentiated positions aim to deploy group associativity to mobilise the richness of exchanges, the elaboration of key clinical issues and revive the ability and pleasure of thinking together. Sequences of session material illustrate the point.
