The author undertakes here a first panoramic survey of this topic, demonstrating how utopia is plural and how each one has its own territorial design and built expression. There is no architectural or urban utopia without a political and societal utopia. Utopians first change their ways of living in order to break free from the ‘diktats’ of the system they are challenging (sexuality, education, work, nature, etc.), and then, invent new dwellings and another environment…
