Le quotidien du psychanalyste c’est en effet d’abord un lieu, le cabinet, et un cadre, le setting analytique. Ce quotidien c’est aussi deux figures inverses : la répétition et l’imprévu. La première menace l’analyse de l’interminable, le second promet au contraire l’ouverture sur l’inconnu et le changement.

The author offers a thought based on his private practice about what makes everyday life in a psychoanalytical cure. Indeed, for the analyst, it is among other things, a place, the office, and a framework, the analytical setting. This everyday life is also built with two opposite figures: repetition and mishap. The first one threatens the analysis of the never-ending, the second one promises an opening on the unknown and change.
