Les auteurs explorent la question de l’autorité dans les institutions de soin psychique au travers du prisme de leur expérience singulière de la transformation d’une unité de Secteur en unité psychiatrique Covid+ sur une période de trois mois. Dans une attention portée au fonctionnement groupal et institutionnel à l’épreuve de ce changement, ils proposent d’interroger l’impact du contexte pandémique sur la relation thérapeutique et sur les pratiques cliniques. Ils argumentent la nécessité d’ouvrir des espaces créatifs d’échanges et de réflexion clinique pour les professionnels, afin de soutenir les capacités à contenir la souffrance psychique et permettre d’assurer la fonction de protection de sujets en grande vulnérabilité.

The authors explore the question of authority in psychological care institutions through the prism of their singular experience of transforming a Sector unit into a Covid+ psychiatric unit over a period of three months. In a focus on group and institutional functioning facing this change, they propose questioning the impact of the pandemic context on the therapeutic relationship and on clinical practices. They argue for the need to open creative spaces for exchanges and clinical reflection for professionals, in order to support the capacities to contain psychological suffering and to ensure the function of protecting the most vulnerable subjects.
