En s’appuyant sur deux textes fondamentaux, l’un de Freud, « L’analyse avec fin et l’analyse sans fin », l’autre de Jung, Psychologie du transfert , l’auteur explore ici l’effet de la formation du symbole au cours du processus de la fin de l’analyse. Cette formation d’un symbole donne le sens à l’arrêt de la relation analytique et à la poursuite de l’auto-analyse par la pratique de la fonction transcendante, ce travail conscient de la relation entre les forces conscientes et inconscientes.

On the basis of two fundamental texts, “Analysis Terminable and Interminable,” by Freud, and “The Psychology of Transference,” by Jung, the author explores the effect of symbol formation in the course of the process of ending analysis. Symbol formation gives meaning to the end of the analytical relationship and the continuation of self-analysis using the transcendent function, conscious work on the relationship between conscious and unconscious forces.
