La notion vaporeuse de « risque psychosocial » prête à confusion et au double langage. Cette notion – il n’est pas question de la qualifier de « concept » – alimente la technicisation du rapport social et l’effacement du travail. En première partie, nous rappellerons que le « risque psychosocial », terme-parapluie s’il en est, a une histoire récente. Ensuite nous constaterons comment on installe la notion entre bonnes intentions et escroqueries intellectuelles. La troisième partie de l’article balaie devant notre propre porte d’analyste du travail : résister à l’effacement du travail n’est pas seulement un diagnostic à faire pour les autres.

The hazy notion of “psychosocial risk” leads to confusion and to double-speak. This notion – there can be no question of qualifying it as a “concept” – nourishes the technicization of social relations and the effacement of work. In the first part it will be suggested that the “psychosocial risk”, an umbrella term if ever there was one, has a recent history. We will then see how the notion is positioned between good intentions and intellectual fraud. The third part of the article seeks to put the labour analyst’s own house in order : resisting the effacement of work is not only a diagnosis to be made for others.
