RésuméEn examinant la création artistique, principalement la sculpture et la peinture, les auteurs dégagent un continuum de conduites sublimatoires basé sur la genèse du psychisme, psychisme qui se développe à partir du corps pulsionnel. Si l’excitation corporelle attise le passage à l’acte dans l’anti-sublimation de certaines œuvres dominées par les pulsions prégénitales, plusieurs niveaux de sublimation, de plus en plus symboliques et élaborés mentalement, peuvent être repérés sur ce continuum. On voit donc à travers celui-ci comment le corps pulsionnel, mis en représentation, intervient sur la scène mentale des sublimations participant ainsi à l’intelligence du corps.

In examining artistic creation, mainly sculpture and painting, the authors bring out a continuum of sublimatory behaviours based on the genesis of psychism which develops from the pulsional body. If the corporal excitation stirs up the acting out in the anti sublimation of certain works dominated by pregenital drives, several levels of sublimation, more and more symbolic and mentally elaborated, can be located on this continuum. Thus one can see through this continuum how the drive body, set in representation, intervenes on the mental scene of sublimations participating in that way in the intelligence of the body.
