Dans cet article, l’auteur cherche à mettre en lumière les effets de la migration sur les familles migrantes, sur la société d’accueil et les professionnels. Après une partie théorique sur les enjeux de la confrontation à l’altérité culturelle, il pointe des problématiques de transmission intergénérationnelle et les dynamiques du changement dans l’espace migratoire. Une vignette clinique illustre la complexité du travail psychique à l’œuvre dans les métissages culturels et la construction de l’identité à la seconde génération, ainsi que l’intérêt de la consultation transculturelle comme complément des dispositifs classiques de prise en charge.

CULTURES, MIGRATION AND SOCIETIES DESTIN OF FAMILIAL AND CULTURAL LOYALTIES WITH THE CHILDREN OF MIGRANTS In this article, the author seeks to highlight the effects of migration on migrant families, on the host society and professionals. After a theoretical part on the issues of confrontation with cultural alterity, he focuses on the problematics of intergenerational transmission and the dynamics of change in the migratory space. A clinical vignette illustrates the complexity of the psychic work involved in cultural hybridisation and the construction of identity with the second generation, as well as the interest of transcultural consultation.
