What link does Solovyov maintain with Comte? How does he interpret the “law of the three stages” and how does he attempt to include it in his own system? In this article we will try to prove that the opposition between Solovyov and Comte isn’t always as marked as we’re used to presenting it. Through the integration of Comte’s “law of the three stages,” we will try to outline Solovyov’s specific annexation method of the philosophical contents of philosophers that precede him and of which positivism is a part.
