This short article demonstrates the PRÉAUT approach: the association of clinical work, always at the forefront, research, to validate clinical findings, and transmission through training in the field of autism, is part of a desire for complementarity. PRÉAUT is a pioneer: what we wanted to defend is a committed practice that does not exclude any theoretical contributions, notably not those of psychoanalysis at a time when it is not welcome, and that does not avoid any discussion, even vigorous, on the limits of the model. We give examples of the PRÉAUT sign and “ateliers-classe” (class-workshops).
