Speaking and Silence: Intersubjectivity in the Research Interview
Type de matériel :
33
To understand the research interview context through the psychosocial lens (Moscovici, 1984), obliges to wonder about the dynamics of the subject-researcher relationship and its effects on the object of study (Haas, Masson, 2006). Stressing on the eminently social character of the interview situation, the authors undertake an analysis of the role of the positions and of the reciprocal status that occupy and mutually assign each other the interviewee and interviewer during this specific interaction. They show that the data gathered are dependent on it. A particular attention is given to silence, to its causes, meaning and possible interpretations.
