"Very little precise data is available about professional integration of graduates in psychology. This paper combines two data sources: a summary of recent investigations focusing on the integration of students from 18 to 30 months after obtaining their graduate degree (CEREQ, surveys by university offices, data published by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research); and an analysis of the job offers published on the website of the French Federation of Psychologists and Psychology (FFPP) from 2010 to 2012. The results appear convergent and complementary. The insertion surveys point to major trends over time; the analysis of job offers makes it possible to perform a more in-depth assessment of insertion by comparing regional specificities with regard to employment. The fragile nature of the integration of young psychologists is confirmed, but less expected features can also be identified."
