In order to examine what drives individuals to develop certain beliefs about homeopathy and to use this complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), this study focuses on explicit spirituality and the preference for naturalness. It was conducted among 367 participants, 207 of whom were female and 160 male. The results of this study show that explicit spirituality and individuals’ preference for naturalness are significantly related to their beliefs that homeopathy relieves symptoms and improves well-being. These beliefs also significantly explain the use of this complementary and alternative medicine.
