The containing function in a group using tales as mediation with adults suffering from autism and infantile psychosis
Type de matériel :
54
On the basis of a tale-telling workshop with patients suffering from autism or infantile psychosis, the author wishes to question the group’s containing function. For these patients with a highly precarious constitution of the Ego, as well as a mainly stereotyped language, being grouped together violently develops archaic fantasies. Mediation through tales allows a representation of these fantasies and helps support the symbolization processes.
