A delirious dialog between father and son Dr. Schreber’s pedophilic and murderous fantasies

The authors, rather than returning to Freud’s text, return to three main topics resulting from the educational and relational material between Dr. Schreber and his son: following a reminder of the main clinical elements, they analyze the conflict between the “real” body and the fantasized body of the child as well as the fantasy of pedophilic control underpinned by the father’s desire for infanticide. They end this exploration with one of the least analyzed elements of the corpus of this case: the dead-end adolescence of P. Schreber, associated with a hindrance in the psychic work of the feminine.
