In 2014, the Ministry of Agriculture, Agrifood and Forestry has included in the law on the future of agriculture, food and forestry (LOAAF), the Territorial Food Projects (TFP). The aim of the article is to question the territorial dimension of the TFP. To which territory does the Territorial Food Project refer? From the observation of 3 trajectories of Territorial Food Projects in New-Aquitaine, initiatives initially carried out by a metropolis, a “pays” (community association territory) and a citizen collective, the authors show weather the T of the TFP which most often corresponds to institutional limits (thus existing and recognized by the actors), it is not fixed for all that. The interaction between territory and food governance, which varies according to local situations, leads to giving different meanings to the T of the TFP.
