Confinement and restraint
Type de matériel :

Using research on patient and caregiver lived experience and epidemiological data on physical restraint, we discuss the most extreme practices of confinement in psychiatry: total immobilization of the subject. The current practice of physical restraint is part of a historical development from Antiquity to the present day, where taboos are being lifted : a large number of reports, recommendations, and legislative proposals have challenged the increased use of these measures. How can we avoid their use ? How can we use teamwork to avoid restraint and seek solutions in each situation ?
