Socio-educational support for unaccompanied minors: A study of the conflicts between social representations and professional representations

This study of support for unaccompanied minors is offered as a contribution to the theoretical field of social and professional representations. It shows that their care takes place at the intersection of politics, individual support, and an awareness of the difficulties inherent to the migrant’s journey. This dichotomy between repressive and protective elements renders the frontier between social and professional representations permeable, helping to shed light on the inequalities of care.
