The person is a being free to decide on their own actions and should be respected. The practitioner, by identifying the uniqueness and competencies of others, will be able to support the person in self-solution by acting as a guide to facilitate autonomy. In the face of imposed change, what practices may promote humanistic social work and a co-responsible ethics that promotes the citizen’s empowerment? The all-digital world, revealing a societal evolution, may leave the most vulnerable behind.
