This article focuses on raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders among elementary school students. It examines how to think about the specific features of these disorders with students, with the aim of improving their inclusion in school. The author explores several ways of making students aware of the differences between peers and discusses the value of allowing them to experiment with communication tools specific to students with asd, in order to facilitate their inclusion.
