The void in countertransference: Clinical practice and the contemporary subject
Type de matériel :
42
With some subjects, the analyst or psychotherapist experiences a void in the countertransference, consisting of a negative hallucination that mirrors the patient’s negativity. This countertransference reflects the patient’s transferential modalities and a borderline subjectification disorder linked to a failure of the internal mirror. This internal mirror is sought externally, within the transference and at a “transitional” level through prostheses.
