Contemporary challenges for child psychiatry. The community mental health center as a local and sectoral linchpin

Community mental health centers and child community health centers (cmp/cmpp) are important actors in the field of psychological care. As linchpins of the sector model, they provide prevention, diagnosis, and care services to patients aged from 0 to 18 years. In a context of growing demand, shortages of professionals, insufficient resources, recommendations for good practice, and the need to combine neurodevelopmental and psychodynamic approaches, the cmp/cmpp have had to adapt. They remain places that favor creative development, beneficial to patients and their families.
