The Role of Business Incubators, Characteristics of the Entrepreneurial Project and the Growth of TIC Startups: The Case of a Developing Country

Moreover, it focused on experiences in developed and emerging countries. This article proposes to analyze the role of policies and structures of incubation in a developing country. The study focused on a representative sample of ICT sector enterprises, hosted in different incubators on Tunisian territory. The results show that business growth is directly linked to the ambition and scope of the entrepreneurial project. The incubator plays no direct role with regard to growth, but it supports entrepreneurs in terms of the dual dimension of local integration and the completion of management training.
