Round Table on the Juvenile Justice System, February 14, 2008

Although experiencing a crisis and the ill-being of young people, the juvenile justice system is a high-stakes area. Juvenile justice requires an approach that combines education, the law, and psychiatry, and it must remain distinct from criminal justice for adults. Only a joint discussion about redefining the disciplinary domains, the actors’ functions, and the links between institutions will allow the creation of an institutional fabric able to handle the singular logics of juvenile delinquents.
