Local Child Protection Offices: A New Tool of Public Policy
Type de matériel :

Local child protection offices were created under the law of March 5, 2007, which reformed child protection services. These offices are a valuable tool for monitoring and analyzing child protection in each of France’s administrative units. A bridge between local and national child protection services, they are designed to give an overall look at the situation in France via statistical tools, fostering a common culture of child protection, and coordinating analyses between all relevant institutions. However, the effectiveness of this new tool depends on child protection workers’ commitment to it.
