The way to verbal speech is strictly linked to the instauration of intersubjectivity in which the possibility itself of communication (verbal and preverbal) is rooted. The preverbal level of communication needs the setting up of preverbal links, which have to be simultaneously created with the intersubjective gap, and the early bodily presymbolic representations play as a part of this first level of communication.These different processes cannot take place without some aspects of developmental violence.
