Bereavement and Mourning in Children: The Psychoanalysis of a Child with Hyperactive Disorders
Type de matériel :
27
This paper deals with the question of bereavement and mourning in children. It is based on a psychoanalytic case study of a 7-year-old boy with hyperactive disorders. The death of a parent damages the child and undermines his identity. Action can be a way to struggle against the impalpable and the mortifying. The resumption of mourning goes through a dual imaginary and symbolical development of a specular and filial reconstruction.
