Two national public policies in the direction of childhood are exerted by the general advices : the public policy of protection and promotion of the health of the family and the child with general aiming and the policy of child protection targeted on the danger of ill-treatment or of deficiency of care. With the law reforming the child protection of 2007, the ambition to develop an axis “prevention” resulted in the widening of a specific policy. It is resulted from it a trend to enclose the prevention with general aiming in a targeted perspective. This put in a difficult situation the professionals and services of pmi and weakened the bond of confidence which found their action in the direction of the families. It is crucial to reaffirm the clean purpose of each device so they can hold their legitimate place, cooperate peacefully and put their differences at the service of the families and children.
