In this article dealing with the clinical assessment of violence suffered in adolescence, we discuss the issues involved in the encounter between the expert psychologist and the minor, particularly in terms of the scopic dimension in relation to the traumatic sphere. The context of psychological expertise can prove to be violent, since the facts have to be recounted several times in the course of legal proceedings. The expert situation may represent a danger of instinctual drive passivation, commensurate with the harm suffered. Cross-testing the Rorschach with a graphic test (D10) can help to remobilize the subject’s place in the process, based on the graphic gesture and the figurability offered by the act. A clinical case is presented showing how these tools can remobilize the associative process and the stages of symbolization.
