In the Complete Correspondence of Sigmund Freud and Karl Abraham, the equivalence which the latter often makes between « psychoanalysis » and «cause», and therefore its «militancy», calls for reflection. From there to a general analysis of the notion of « conflict », the Correspondence in question could appear as a testimony to the interlocking and overlapping of various conflicts, at very different levels. Finally, contemplation focuses on the specificity of « conflict » and « cause » in psychoanalysis.
