The article examines the way Lacan sets and develops the notion of “delirious metaphor” and raises the question whether it does not already contain quite a few of the ingredients later rearranged by the Borromean knot. This leads to the need to qualify the supposed Borromean separation, particularly regarding our conception of psychosis.
